Application process

1) Client locates an available date utilizing the online calendar link or calls Spangenberg Theatre directly (650) 444-7127;

2) Client fills out Application For Use Permit and Equipment/Materials Request Form;

3) Client submits both forms to Spangenberg Theatre via USPS, fax or email attachment along with a copy of the organization's U.S. Treasury letter of non-profit status, if applicable. (Please see Contact information);

4) Spangenberg Theatre generates an Estimate of Expenses and submits it to Client via PDF email attachment;

5) Client pays-in-full the total amount of Estimate which serves as a deposit and secures the reservation;

6) No later than 30 business days prior to event, Client submits a one million dollar ($1,000,000) Public Liability (Property Damage and Bodily Injury) policy as evidenced by a CERTIFICATE OF LIABILITY INSURANCE with a SEPARATE ENDORSEMENT (CG 20 10 or equivalent) shall be provided by the applicant naming the Palo Alto Unified School District (PAUSD) as an ADDITIONAL INSURED or Client may cancel to receive a full refund. A Cancellation-charge of 50% of Estimate of Expenses will be made unless Spangenberg Theatre Manager is notified in writing of change or cancellation at least thirty (30) working days in advance.
